It looks like we may not get a fix soon...

I'm a bit reluctant to pollute other databases because of an Oracle issue, at the same time we cannot leave that open... I still hope we can find a workaround that doesn't mess up the DB otherwise we will have to go with a JBP_EMPTY_STRING value...
