In the MetaDataWidget - would be nice to have a "disable" toggle button/drop down, which is stored as an attribute on an asset, optionally. 
If this attribute is set to false, then it can be excluded from any source generation, or build etc, it is totally ignored (see the ContentHandler classes for where to put that logic).

The AssetItem can have another attribute "disabled" added to it (values can be added dynamically without any schema change).
