Viliam,
I have created the test portlet to verify this fix. You can get the war from https://svn.jboss.org/repos/qa/portal/patch/UserDetailPortlet/output/userDetail-portlet.war. For your selenium case:

1. Deploy this war.
2. Hit http://localhost:8080/portal/portal/default/UsersDetailPage
3. Get the last login date for user
4. Login as user
5. Do 2
6. Verify the login date is more recent than that you get in 3.

Please let me know if you run into any problem.
