    Resolution: Won't Fix

Although this isn't a bad idea per se, please use the suggested workaround.  If this is inadequate for someone, please feel free to re-open, with a comment as to why it's inadequate.  If re-opened, understand that this will never be done in the 4.x series, which is feature frozen.  Highly doubtful it would be done in 5.0.x either; perhaps in a future minor release.
