This would indeed be an ideal solution. Unfortunately this is not quite the case. The situation as distributed with the suite right now is aimed to be installed and only guaranteed to work in a *clean* eclipse environment. There is another 'no-deps' build of the plugin that is included in JBoss Tools. The JBoss Tools project has an installer/update site that takes care of all the necessary dependencies.
