The JBAS-4021 subtask is as far as this is going for the 4.x releases.  JBAS-3537 adds a -m switch for configuring a system property to drive multicast ports. I need to revisit how this works to make sure it handles things properly with the current setup of shared transports and JBM opening a TCP/MPING channel.
