Mike McMahon commented on JBRULES-1216:
---------------------------------------

In what sense is drools-repository.jar a stand alone app??? There is not a static main() in the whole source tree.
The only way I know to use drools-repository.jar is as a library, and I think the end user should be in control of logging.
The file drools-repository/src/main/resources/log4j.xml should be removed.

> the file drools-repository/src/main/resources/log4j.xml goes into the jar artifact.
> this causes problems for end-users who also use log4j since the classloader may choose either log4j.xml
