I've switched trunk to the latest remoting 2.4.0.CR2.

I've also imported it in the right location in the maven repo:
https://svn.jboss.org/repos/repository.jboss.org/maven2/org/jboss/remoting/jboss-remoting/

(it used to be in: https://svn.jboss.org/repos/repository.jboss.org/maven2/jboss/remoting/jboss-remoting/)
