strange issue on hudson machines. i've tried it on dev60.qa.atl2.redhat.com.
firstly crate a new page in dashboard config. name it i.e. "DashBoardTestPage"

then select it with the "Currently editing page" selector.
don't do anything, but select "default" page again,
now try to change layout, i.e. to "3columns" and click "select"

the page make just refresh and the value of layout is not saved.

unfortunatelly i wasn't able to simulate this issue on my local machine, but it seems, that it is a problem for many hudson machines
