When attempting to deploy a war using the following code:

        DeploymentProgress progress = manager.distribute(tempFile.getName(), ManagedDeployment.DeploymentPhase.APPLICATION, tempFile.toURL());
        progress.addProgressListener(this);
        progress.run();       

I get the following NPE:
