I'm working with JBOSS 4.2.3.    Curious as to why the PrincipalSessionAttributeFilter does not call chain.doFilter(request,response,chain); After storing the principal within the session.   When I enable this filter within the web.xml .. and try to navigate to a jsp through a dispatcher servlet my browser ends up displaying a blank page.  When I comment out this filter I have no problem reaching my resource.
