Flaviu Simihaian commented on JBAS-5965:
----------------------------------------

Marc, I having the issue you mentioned with 4.2.3 It looks like this: (I'm using JDK 1.6)

jboss/bin/./run.sh: line 89: ulimit: open files: cannot modify limit: Invalid argument
run.sh: Could not set maximum file descriptor limit: unlimited
=========================================================================

  JBoss Bootstrap Environment

  JBOSS_HOME: /Users/Troy/jboss

  JAVA: java

  JAVA_OPTS: -Dprogram.name=run.sh -Xms128m -Xmx512m -Dsun.rmi.dgc.client.gcInterval=3600000 -Dsun.rmi.dgc.server.gcInterval=3600000

  CLASSPATH: /Users/Troy/jboss/bin/run.jar

jboss starts, but I cannot seem to get a page up, because of this:

description The requested resource (/hello) is not available.
JBossWeb/2.0.1.GA

I would really appreciate any suggestions. I've searched everywhere. the same jboss works fine with jdk 1.6 in windows. Is there something wrong with the environment variables?

thanks

> Using run.sh of AS 4.2.3, bash reports an error message.
> To fix this, introduce jboss_init_osx.sh
> I am ready to provide the script.
> Btw, beside that I have not identified any issues on OSX.
