Michael Neale reassigned JBRULES-1016:
--------------------------------------
Assignee: Toni Rikkola (was: Michael Neale)
Toni - this would be a nice feature for some people.
As rules can be (and it is recommended) to be stored in many small assets, would be nice to have a scrolling view where just the rules are shown (loaded on demand) in a list, side by side. A scroll panel could be used, where they are loaded as the user scrolls down. If they want to edit, they will have to open it as normal, so this is really just showing the rule itself (in its appropriate editor).
Something to investigate (not sure how hard this would be in practice).

> At the moment, to view a rule you have to look at a list, and then open a rule, one at a time.
> If people thing its a sensible idea, I propose a view to load up a list of rules - and show them one on top of the other. This can be done with scrollable panel, so when scrolling up or down we lazily load previous or later rules (so at any one time, only a handful of rules are visible).
> This is just a low priority idea (God forbid we run out of things to do) - I would only recommend doing this if people start asking for something like this. I know in the IDE it has been talked about.
