Unfortunately in categories view I can't be sure of the total number, what was there before was wrong - this is due to filtering of the list for security purposes. I could tell you, but then I would have to kill you. 

It does work fine for packages view though - as it is unfiltered. 

I have added a go to first button. 

Hopefully at some point in the future we will have total counts including security filtering.
