Similar to the medical example, a very simplified mortgage pricing example would be a valuable editing (as a BRMS package to download and import). 

A simple mortgage interest rate calculator using http://www.investopedia.com/terms/r/risk-based_mortgage_pricing.asp type of idea would be nice. This should use declared facts, and then be accessed as a remote service using the drools-server component. 

Fact model would include: Product (name, mortageDuration) and Application(historyScore, loanAmount, deposit, assetValue) etc...
