I hacked joda to allow it to have a pluggable millis-provider. It supports setting the current time, but the provider strategies are internal and limited. This is a much better solution as I can simply return the drools time whenever joda wants it -- no listener required. I am starting to process to see if I can get them (who?) to expose the strategy.
