I have the following changes in getNamingContext() method in Server.java ready to commit:

          if (username!=null)
          {
+            SimplePrincipal principal = new SimplePrincipal(username); 
+            properties.setProperty(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, principal.getName());
+            properties.setProperty(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, password);
+
+           SecurityAssociation.setPrincipal(principal);
             SecurityAssociation.setCredential(password);
