Forums are down ATM, so I'll do my peer review of the patch discussion here. ;)

1) The patch fails the TestSuite with NPEs.  Check the development instructions: http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/JBossBootstrapDevelopmentandContribution 

2) This line:

	  // Log full paths when log level Trace is enabled.
      if (log.isTraceEnabled()) 
      {
	    return url.toExternalForm();
      }

...I don't like due to the conditional logic depending upon this log level.  Essentially this creates a case where the test output (with logging set to TRACE) is different than in other environments, and the rest of the method doesn't get tested.  So I'd skip this step.

Let's take another look with those two issues addressed?  Awesome to see your contribution Ray, thanks for getting involved.
