There is still a problem when using scoped link-local IPv6 addresses, related to JDK issues. E.g. for addresses such as 

fe80::215:58ff:fec8:81a8%eth0

we get failures (messages are not delivered correctly), and this varies by JDK. So for this release, i'm not going to address these issues.
