i've added input validation tests for nearly all inputs in portal, checking for validation error message to be present on the screen after pressing relevant submit button.

i didn't add input validation for samples page and search inputs.

still waiting for last fixes from chris, probably some assert messages (in assert.properties) would have to be tweaked
