Wesley Hales commented on JBPORTAL-1511:
----------------------------------------

This sounds cool Andy. This also touches on the whole fluid vs. fixed layout, and unfortunately, our current theme uses a fixed pixel layout. i.e. the button height is like 20px or whatever and the mode decoration container has a backgorund that will only expand to something like 30px high. So, even if our fonts were fluid and dynamic per browser, it would break our layouts and look really ugly.
Our layouts are forced to use existing divRenderer markup (which sucks), so that is something we are working on for 2.8. It would be awesome to have fluid layouts and the font system you described.
