my motivation of selenium single test job was the case, when developer is working on some single issue. after submitting the fix we don't have to rerun whole suite, but only the relevant ones. 
in my opinion, it is a better idea to make a copy of this job to be used for resolving problems with selenium. the portal used will be i.e. zipped somewhere in my home folder on some qa machine.
