Fernando Ribeiro commented on JBXB-194:
---------------------------------------

I wouldn't really know at this point, but will look more closely into JBossXB running it outside JBoss Portal to find out.

I was told that the setIgnoringElementContentWhitespace method in the javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory class seems to strip the nodes in question, how do these methods compare to it?

> While handling SOAP faults with JBossWS, I've realized that whitespace should be ignored, because they may have a (useless) lot of them.
