For EAP 4.3.GA_CP04 on HPUX (dev25):

- started up two instances of EAP, verified crosstalk problem appeared without patch
- applied new jar 
- started up two instances of EAP, verified crosstalk problem disappeared with patch

- ran JGroups testsuite against JGRP-983 branch, no regressions

So, patch seems to work and has caused no regressions in JGroups 2.4.5.GA.
