We need to:

1) Lock down a wire protocol for client invocations
2) Simplify the EJB Containers to act as an endpoint for invocations (and do little else)

Additionally, David Lloyd has expressed interest in using some the same generic constructs for an RMI invoker for Remoting 3.

Prototype these goals, using successful patterns from AOP but with no dependencies outside JDK.
