The admin-console is working with MyFaces (JBAS-7380).  I ran into a couple of set up issues initially.
1) Due to the upgrade of myfaces from 1.1.3 to 1.2.7, i had two versions of myfaces jars in the WEB-INF/lib directory of the admin-console.
2) the copying of web.xml from to the WEB-INF directory from
 varia/src/resources/admin-console/WEB-INF/web.xml was is not working in my environment.   Using overwrite="true"  does work.
