Our mid/long term goal is that OSGi services integrate well other programming models that are available in AS. For example, we should be able to call OSGi services from EJB3 and vice versa.

OSGi should therefore be available in the 'all' profile and initially at least not interfere with the services that are available there. 

JBoss OSGi also provides a standalone "pure" OSGi Runtime that is completely decoupled from the AS
