The JARs in JBoss 4.2.3.GA do not contain resource adapter jdbc classes for JDK6 (org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.jdk6). On running with jdk1.6 the appropriate classes are not available and the application using JDK1.6 JDBC API fails. But the release notes of 4.2.3.GA sais:
"The JDK6 compiled binaries include support for the JDBC 4 APIs, but this should be considered experimental at this point."
