Bill DeCoste's work on EJBTHREE-1019, particularly r68144 (2007/12/07) changes to org.jboss.ebj3.stateful.StatefulSessionContextImpl look like they should prevent this issue on ejb3 trunk, AS 5.1, EAP 5.
