@Remy Maucherat
Thank you for your very interesting answer.
Can you add in Jboss Web FAQ at http://www.jboss.org/jbossweb/faq.html that :
"Jboss Web, the web container in JBoss is no longer compatible with Tomcat.
All application vendor that sell web app certified for Tomcat would have to include specific JBoss AS versions in their certification process."
It is very important for customers that want that their software editor add new support for Jboss Web.
And can you add some words that explain why now Jboss Web, the web container (JSP/Servlet) in JBoss, is no longer compatible with Tomcat.
What are the big problems or changes for this compatibility problem ?
There is only few information about Comet Advanced IO, Tomcat Versions, NIO but is not very detailed for IT professionnals.
Can you update Jboss Web FAQ at http://www.jboss.org/jbossweb/faq.html because then now this line is not truth:
"...The latest version of JBoss Web corresponds to the latest version of Tomcat for the patches and security fixes."
Thanks for your help.

> In the Jboss Web FAQ at http://www.jboss.org/jbossweb/faq.html,
> there is :
> "JBoss Web is based on Tomcat 6.0.13 and we have been porting the needed fixes for Tomcat to JBoss Web."
> but at
> http://docs.jboss.org/jbossweb/latest/changelog.html
> I saw that the latest patched Tomcat release used by Jboss is Tomcat 6.0.15.
> Then, is JBoss Web based on Tomcat 6.0.13 or on Tomcat 6.0.15 ?
> It is very important for me to know this information because some software editors support only Tomcat and with a minimal release number for their applications.
