I've got the NPE at RepositoryClassLoader.java:630 on Jboss AS 4.2.2.GA + Seam 2.1.2 when instantiating the persistence unit (no network connection to the database at that time).
I restarted the server and, still without network connection to the database, the error did not appear again => not really reproducible.
