EJB3 needs a slimmer, locked wire protocol.  Note that this issue only will account for the transport object, not the payload, which also needs to be locked / backwards-compatible.

Some prototyping was done in: http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/common/invokablecontainer/trunk/

Perhaps our implementation will merge some of these tests and coverage of InvocationImpl with Marius' work based off Interceptors 1.1:
