Scott, I'm just assigning this over to you as I don't see myself working it any time in the next few weeks. Between your RMIAdaptor work and JBAS-7831, I figure that's the meat of the work; the rest is probably just removing it from the testsuite and deleting code. When you get JBAS-7831 done if you don't have cycles to go further, ping me, I'll see if I can finish it off.
