    Steps to Reproduce: 
1. Uncomment the SMTPAppender in jboss-logging.xml

2. Add the appender to a logger eg:

  <handlers>
    <handler-ref name="SMTP"/>
  </handlers>
</logger>

3. Start the JBoss server
