- the .ddj would have a meta-inf that tells you the original url for that artifact you are loading
- we don't want to lose the link between loading the artifact and where it was published from and which version.
- in general this comes under making an enterprise class flexible deployment architecture
- some of the more complex stuff comes from "diffs"
