Flavia Rainone commented on JBAS-8424:
--------------------------------------
Stan, the reason for not using a weak reference, is that the structure is cleaned and removed on undeploy, prior to removal of the class loader, hence I don't see how it would cause a memory leak.
Plus, as I said on an e-mail to Pete, I ran the tests with and without weldint-1, and the amount of time that it took to reproduce the out of memory error was the same, which took me to the conclusion that weldint-1 was not contributing to the memory leak.

> ThreadLocalResteasyProviderFactory in RestEasy has a reference to a CdiInjectorFactory that is not released when the application is undeployed from JBoss AS. This CdiInjectorFactory holds a reference to a BeanManager from Weld, and thus leaks all the beans from the deployment.
