Flavia,

After re-reading you comment I guess you are saying that the WeakHashMap is cleaned up explicitly on undeploy?  That definitely was not happening.  By wrapping the value in a WeakReference I fixed the problem and I could see that clearly in JProfiler.  If you are cleaning up explicitly then why use WeakHashMap?
