When I created this, JGroups still checked for some system properties in the 'jboss' namespace (e.g. jboss.partition.udpGroup, jboss.partition.udpPort). I believe as a fallback if the standard 'jgroups' namespaced ones weren't set. If it no longer does that, then this JIRA is out of date.
