is the EAP distinction done by appending -redhat?

Or could the information that shows up in boot log at 
22:13:52,235 INFO  [org.jboss.as] JBoss EAP 6.0.0.Alpha2 (AS 7.1.0.Beta1-redhat-1) starting

be the version string returned -- meaning "EAP 6... (....)" ?
