I came across quite a few broken artifacts in the jboss public repo lately.

The one I found today was:

https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public/trove/trove/

It contains only old metadata md5 and sha1 but the actual artifact is missing. This was present until recently, and is referenced by the JBoss JSR-303 TCK.
