6 Hrs ago, the repository archetype was not downloadable (Err 500), and I see the following message today (takes very long to appear): 

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /nexus/content/repositories/releases/archetype-catalog.xml.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Apache Server at repository.jboss.org Port 443
