2.6.2 is old, I suggest try with at least 2.6.15 (downloadable from SourceForge). 
I'm going to close this. If you can reproduce the issue, please re-open the case and add the exact steps (and the program used) to reproduce it.
You can also try a later version (branch on GitHub is Branch_JGroups_2_6), but you have to build it yourself.
