This is caused by a class not being available that was available by default in AS6, which causes some classes to fail to load during weld bootstrap.

Unfortunately these failures are logged at DEBUG level, which is not shown by default, I have created WELD-928 to increase the log level.

To fix this app add a

entry to the MANIFEST.MF of the ear
