Thanks for the prompt response and thorough analysis.

When you say "The error here is the result of actually attempting to install a component (usually an EJB but could also be a ManagedBean or a servlet)". I am not sure if any classes in metawidget-all.jar qualify? None are marked @Session or @Entity or @ManagedBean, and none are Servlets.

Can you investigate further to see which class is triggering the error? Then I will make changes to metawidget-all.jar if I can.
