    Resolution: Cannot Reproduce Bug


The console does not fail silently.  It does produce an error message that can be seen briefly at the bottom of the screen.  It can also be viewed by pushing the "Messages" button.

I'm fairly certain that there are other jiras that address the fact that we need better reporting of these messages.  So I'm just going to close this as "Cannot Reproduce Bug".
