The version is already present:
[Server:server-one] 12:57:26,503 ERROR [org.jboss.as] (Controller Boot Thread) JBoss EAP 6.0.0.Alpha2 (AS 7.1.0.Alpha1-redhat-1) started (with errors) in 15075ms 

so please just expose that - perhaps just as attribute on /
