Don't be trapped into using this version for *any* purpose other than displaying to the user.  This version number is basically a marketing tool only and should *always* be considered *output-only*!

To determine server capabilities, we need to be querying the management schema version (1.0 for 7.0, 1.1 for 7.1 but NOT guaranteed to follow that progression) and the subsystem schema version (also various progression).  This way the console can be forwards-compatible to the largest extent possible.
