"will there be a possibility to change the infinispan subsystem for the whole domain or server group so that all servers in the domain/server group are affected? I'm just trying to find out what we'll be able to test around EDG running in the domain mode."

Yes. My understanding is that any management operation, when applied to a subsystem of a profile in use by a server group, will be sent out and applied to all servers in the server group. So the operations being provided here will also have that property.
