Richard may I request that you somehow warn users of metawidget on a JBoss 7 platform that it will fail until this issue is resolved ?  It has not been fixed for JBoss 7.0.2.Final.

I just spent two days struggling to try out your package and only now did I stumble across this jira.
Now that I know the root cause of my failed deployments to JBoss 7, I'll wait until this issue is resolved before I try metawidget again.
