The null pointer is being thrown because: 

1. The OutputMarshaller is now writing the InitialFactNode. (See JBRULES-3209). 
2. When the InputMarshaller tries to unmarshall a marshalled session that contains one (InputMarshaller, ll. 231-242), a NPE is thrown because a {{InitialFact_ObjectType}} ObjectTypeNode can not be found.
